TMBC Lincoln Resource Center

This old school still teaches.

Once the halls of Lincoln Elementary, the building at 318 E. 7th Street now serves as the TMBC Lincoln Resource Center—a welcoming home for programs, tenant partners, and community events that help youth, families, and neighbors grow skills, find support, and lead the future of the Quad Cities.

1850s – Education and equity debates in Davenport

Community petitions, editorials, and board actions wrestled with whether Black students could learn alongside white students. These debates shaped a long local journey toward equal education.
