Premier Annual Events
Community Initatives
Empowerment through action. Our initiatives provide the critical resources and platforms our community needs to overcome obstacles and reach their full potential.
Cops 'N' Kids
Literacy is the foundation of a bright future. Cops 'n' Kids began in 2021 with a simple mission: to bridge the gap in book access and foster community trust. By providing free books at the TMBC library and through police outreach, we provide the tools for success and empower the next generation of Quad City leaders to thrive.

Real Conversations in the QC
Real Conversations is a powerful partnership between the TMBC Lincoln Resource Center and KWQC-TV6. Airing every Sunday at 10:30 a.m., this program creates a vital space for honest dialogue about the Black perspective and lived experiences in the Quad Cities. Together with local experts and community members, we explore the systemic issues and daily triumphs that impact our neighbors, ensuring that every voice has a platform to be heard.

Thanksgiving Baskets
Through our partnership with Ascentra Credit Union, we provide 100+ free Thanksgiving family meal kits, including a turkey and all the essentials. By providing these goods, we remove the burden of holiday costs—empowering our neighbors to focus on what matters most: each other.
