Cancellation Policy

Together Making A Better Community (TMBC) at the Lincoln Resource Center provides affordable, community-based spaces for private and public events. To ensure a smooth experience for everyone, all renters agree to the following terms: Reservations & Payment A signed agreement and a 50% deposit are required to reserve your date. The remaining balance is due 7 days before your event. Additional fees for catering, furniture, or equipment are due prior to the event start. Payments may be made by cash or online. Deposits become non-refundable 10 days before, and no refunds are given 5 days before the event. Insurance & Liability If applicable, renters must provide Special Event Liability Insurance naming TMBC Lincoln Resource Center as an additional insured, with minimum coverage of $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate. Renters assume full responsibility for personal property and agree to indemnify TMBC from any damages, losses, or injuries during the event. Use of Space Renters must treat the facility and its contents with care. No nails, staples, glitter, or confetti are allowed. Only low-tack tape may be used for decorations. Any damages will be billed to the renter. All items must be removed within two hours after the event. Behavior & Conduct TMBC is a drug-, alcohol-, and smoke-free facility. Disorderly conduct, fighting, or profanity will result in immediate removal without refund. Guests must be respectful of others on site and surrounding neighbors. Music & Noise Music and DJs are welcome but must comply with city noise ordinances. Volume must be lowered upon staff request. Loud music must end by 10 PM Sunday–Thursday and midnight Friday–Saturday. Setup, Cleanup & Storage Renters may access the space only during reserved hours. Limited storage is available by request and may include additional fees. Spaces must be cleaned and returned to original condition after use. Cancellations Cancellations less than 10 days before the event forfeit the deposit. No refunds are issued within 5 days of the scheduled date. General Rules All events must comply with local laws. TMBC staff may enter the premises at any time. TMBC is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Marketing or promotional use of the TMBC name, photos, or logos requires written approval. By booking an event, renters acknowledge and agree to these policies. TMBC Lincoln Resource Center reserves the right to refuse or terminate any event that violates these guidelines.
